11-year-old Pakistani chess prodigy Saad Jahangir Manj has made history by becoming the first player from Pakistan to achieve the Arena International Master (AIM) title in chess.
The milestone marks a major achievement in the country’s chess history, as Saad becomes the first Pakistani to earn an international title in the arena chess category.
Born in 2015, the young talent has rapidly progressed through youth chess ranks, competing in Under-10 and Under-12 events and consistently delivering impressive performances.

Punjab Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar congratulated Saad on his achievement, calling it an inspiring moment for young athletes across the country.
He praised the young player’s success as a reflection of Pakistan’s emerging talent in mind sports.
“This achievement is a shining example for young players. Efforts to promote chess and other sports will continue,” the minister said.
