Eight Pakistani information technology students are set to participate in the regional finals of Huawei Seeds for the Future 2024 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, next week.

Huawei’s initiative, part of its global corporate social responsibility program launched in 2008, aims to foster innovation, develop IT talent, and build a more digitally connected world.

Each year, the program selects outstanding students from universities and technical institutions worldwide, offering them opportunities for digital skills training, cross-cultural exchanges, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies like cloud computing and artificial intelligence.

According to the state-owned Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the eight Pakistani students will participate in the week-long event starting on August 11. These students come from various institutions, including the University of Engineering and Technology, COMSATS University, and the National University of Sciences and Technology.
