In a remarkable achievement, an 11-year-old Pakistani prodigy, Muhammad Hasnain from Saadi Town, Karachi, has developed an AI assistant robot named “Muhammad Ali.” This voice-activated robot showcases Hasnain’s creativity and passion for modern technology.
“He acts as an assistant, following instructions to perform various tasks. He can open websites, create a list of items for your holiday,” Hasnain shared with Geo Digital, “and even help with everyday household chores. For example, if you tell him to switch the electricity to solar power, he can do that too. It all depends on how I’ve programmed him and the commands I give,” he explained.
Muhammad Hasnain’s journey into robotics began two years ago when he enrolled in an introductory robotics course at the Imam Hussain Institute in Scheme 33, Karachi. His ultimate goal for this summer is to perfect his AI assistant, a project he’s been working on alongside game development for the past two years.
When asked about his interest in robotics, Hasnain said, “I started exploring robotics two years ago and found it fascinating. This year, I decided to deepen my knowledge since the previous course was just for beginners. My final project for the summer course was this AI assistant.”
