Chief Traffic Officer of Rawalpindi, Beenish Fatima, has been honored with the 2024 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Award.
The IACP annually recognizes 40 law enforcement professionals under the age of 40 from around the world who demonstrate exceptional leadership through its prestigious awards program.
The award was presented during the IACP conference held in Boston, USA, according to a police spokesperson on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Beenish Fatima is the first Pakistani woman to receive this distinction, marking a significant international recognition of her leadership abilities and contributions to law enforcement.
“Through her dedication and skills, Beenish Fatima has demonstrated that Pakistani women can excel on the global stage,” the spokesperson remarked.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, also congratulated SP Fatima, describing her as a valuable asset not only to the Punjab Police but to the entire nation.
He emphasized that officers of her caliber would play a crucial role in shaping the future leadership of the police force.
