The Pakistan baseball team claimed the Arab Classic Baseball title dominantly, defeating hosts UAE 12-1 in the final to finish the tournament undefeated. Held by Baseball United, the competition saw Pakistan assert their superiority throughout, with the final marking their sixth consecutive victory.

After a close start in the opening two innings, it was Pierce Khan who broke the deadlock, delivering the game’s first RBI single to give Pakistan the lead. From there, the visitors took full control. Moosa Nonomiya added a spark to the offense with a home run, and by the seventh inning, Pakistan had built a commanding 7-1 lead. The team continued to dominate, eventually sealing the game with a 12-1 win.

With the victory, Pakistan ended the Arab Classic with a perfect 6-0 record, having already triumphed over Bangladesh, and two wins against UAE, India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. Their closest call came in the semi-finals, where they edged Sri Lanka 3-0.

In recognition of his standout performances throughout the tournament, Pakistan’s Muhammad Husain was named the MVP of the Arab Classic.

The tournament, organized by Baseball United, the only baseball promotion organization working to grow the sport in the Middle East, provided a platform for regional teams to showcase their talent. Pakistan’s 14-member squad dominated the four-day competition, reinforcing their status as the highest-rated team in the tournament.

This triumph further cements Pakistan’s growing strength in international baseball, as the country continues to expand its footprint in the global sporting scene.
