Young Pakistani Tennis Star, Muhammad Hassan Usmani delivered a stellar performance at the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) U14 Tournament in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, clinching both singles and doubles titles in a remarkable display of skill.
According to information made available here by the Pakistani Tennis Federation, Muhammad Hassan Usmani defeated top-seeded Suleyman Hudayberdiyev of Turkmenistan 6-3, 6-1 in the singles final, demonstrating exceptional technique and composure.
In a surprising twist, he then partnered with his singles opponent to win the doubles title, defeating Saudi players Anas Alzahrany and Souhail El-Taji El-Farouki in a nail-biting 7-5, 4-6, 10-8 match.
The tournament’s highlight was the presence of tennis legend Rafael Nadal, who personally presented the trophies to the young champions.
“It’s an incredible honor to receive these trophies from Rafael Nadal, who has been my inspiration,” Usmani said, visibly elated. Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) leadership celebrated the achievement.
PTF President Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi praised Usmani’s performance as a significant milestone for Pakistani tennis, while Secretary General Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail congratulated the young athlete and his family.
