Pakistani athlete Muhammad Arshad has set a Guinness World Record for performing one-legged push-ups on his thumbs 66 times in one minute, marking the third time he has achieved this feat, Guinness officials said.
Arshad, who holds more than 14 Guinness World Records, attempted the challenging exercise in May 2025 and has now officially secured recognition for his latest performance.
In an interview with Guinness World Records, Arshad described one-legged thumb push-ups as one of the most demanding physical exercises, requiring extraordinary strength, balance, and mental resilience.
“The uniqueness of this exercise captured my attention,” he said, adding that during training, he had to bend one toe at a 90-degree angle to maintain balance on his thumbs, one of the greatest challenges in mastering the move.
Arshad has previously broken numerous world records in strength and endurance disciplines, and his latest achievement underscores his continued dedication to extreme physical training.
