Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) has made history as its undergraduate team secured victory at the CFA Institute Research Challenge Sub-Regional Competition, becoming the first Pakistani university to achieve this milestone.
The team’s triumph comes after winning the 2025–26 Pakistan final, organized by CFA Society Pakistan, earning them a place in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Finals.
The winning team comprised Daniyal Lohana, Anusha Jauhar, Iliyan Suleman, Manal Adil, and Sheikh Muhammad Salman, under the mentorship of Talha Ahmed Khan.
KSBL has consistently demonstrated excellence in the prestigious competition, having previously won the national title five times, in 2014 and consecutively from 2017 to 2020. This latest achievement further strengthens the institution’s reputation as a leading business school in Pakistan.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is regarded as one of the most competitive global platforms for finance students, where teams analyze real-world companies and present investment recommendations.
