Lyari’s young stars shine as Better Future Pakistan wins Norway Cup U-15

Better Future Pakistan, a youth football team from Lyari, Karachi, made history by winning the Norway Cup U-15 tournament, defeating Norwegian club Gjovik-Lyn FK 2-0 in a thrilling final in Oslo. 

The talented squad remained unbeaten throughout the competition, showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination. In the final, Ahmed Ali opened the scoring in the first half, giving Better Future an early lead. Awais doubled the advantage in the second half, sealing a dominant 2-0 victory and lifting the prestigious trophy.

Football experts praised Better Future’s flawless campaign, noting that their performance not only brought international acclaim but also spotlighted the immense footballing talent in Pakistan’s youth, particularly in underprivileged communities like Lyari.

The Norway Cup is one of the world’s largest international youth football tournaments, held annually in Oslo.
