NUST rises in global university rankings

ISLAMABAD: The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST-Pakistan) has climbed 14 spots to reach #353 in the QS World University Rankings 2025.

NUST has notably advanced in several key performance metrics, rising 100 positions in Sustainability, 86 in the International Research Network, 54 in Citations per Faculty, and 42 in Academic Reputation.

Lt Gen (Retd) Engr Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Rector of NUST, credits the university’s improved global ranking to the dedicated efforts of its faculty and staff, along with the hard work of its students. He remarked, “As NUST celebrates this impressive milestone, it reaffirms its commitment to excellence and innovation in education and research.”
