A Pakistan Army team has secured the gold medal at Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025 in Wales, the United Kingdom, the military said this week.

The event, held between October 3 and 13, is one of the world’s most challenging military endurance tests. Teams during the competition are required to perform specialist tasks in a simulated combat environment over a rugged terrain, stretching 60 kilometers.

Led by Captain Muhammad Saad, the Pakistani contingent was recognized for its “exceptional performance,” according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

“Pakistan Army’s team has won the Gold Medal in Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2025 held in Wales, UK,” the ISPR said. “It is indeed a proud moment for the entire nation and the Pakistan Army, renowned for its professionalism and high standards of training.”

The Cambrian Patrol is known for its rigorous evaluation of military skills, testing participants on tactical operations, endurance, and teamwork under extreme conditions. ISPR noted that the competition maintained its traditionally high professional standards.
