A tram adorned with iconic Pakistani truck art was unveiled by the state government and the Pakistani Embassy in Minsk, Belarus.

The tram, decorated with traditional truck art, was inaugurated by Pakistan’s ambassador to Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan, along with Lazarevich Nadezhda, the first deputy chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, and Dziubenko Oleg Anatolievich, the director general of “Minsktrans.”

“Belarus, in collaboration with Minsktrans, inaugurated a Pakistani ‘Truck Art’ Tram today in Minsk,” Khan announced on the social media platform X.

Khan described the tram as “symbolizing the strong cultural ties and enduring friendship between Pakistan and Belarus.”

The ambassador expressed his gratitude to the city of Minsk for supporting this unique art initiative, which has brought a piece of Pakistan’s cultural heritage to Belarusian streets.

In recent years, this type of painting has become Pakistan’s most renowned cultural export. For example, UNESCO has utilized truck art combined with local themes to promote girls’ education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
