Pakistan has achieved a historic milestone at the UK Shooting Championship held at Bisley Ranges, clinching three gold, four silver, and four bronze medals. A total of 160 elite shooters competed in the championship, with a squad of 18 representing Pakistan.
The Pakistani team showcased exceptional skills and determination, making the nation proud with their outstanding performance. Among the gold medalists were Junaid Khattak and Ahmed Javed.
In the Fullbore Target Rifle (FTR) category, Pakistani shooters earned several individual medals, solidifying their status as formidable competitors on the global stage.
Last year, long-range shooter Mohsin Nawaz also made headlines by winning a silver medal at the highly competitive European Long Range Shooting Championship 2023, where he competed against participants from 18 countries, including world champions.
