Pakistan’s rising squash star Ashab Irfan secured a major victory by winning the $15,000 RC Pro Series 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
The 20-year-old from Lahore delivered an exceptional performance throughout the tournament and sealed the title with a commanding 3-0 win over England’s Charlie Lee in the final, marking another significant milestone in his promising career.
In the semifinals, Ashab battled past sixth seed Matias Knudsen of Colombia in a grueling five-game encounter, winning 11-7, 11-9, 6-11, 12-14, 11-6 in a match that lasted 87 minutes.
This victory adds to Ashab’s growing list of international achievements. Last year, he claimed the Mile High 360 Classic in Denver, where he overcame fellow Pakistani player Asim Khan in a hard-fought final that extended to 112 minutes. Ashab triumphed 3-2 with set scores of 15-13, 8-11, 9-11, 11-8, and 11-9, earning another $15,000 title.
