Ayesha Ayaz, Pakistan’s youngest Taekwondo athlete hailing from Swat, has brought honor to the country with her outstanding performance at the international level. By winning medals in global competitions held in Dubai, Bangkok, and several other venues, she has not only proved her exceptional talent but also set an inspiring example for the youth of Pakistan.
Ayesha began her training in childhood under the supervision of her father, who himself is an expert Taekwondo coach, while her mother is a former national champion. With her parents’ guidance and encouragement, Ayesha achieved remarkable international success at a very young age.
Recently, Ayesha Ayaz demonstrated brilliant performance at an international event held in Indonesia, securing one gold medal and one silver medal. Through her exceptional performance, she showcased her skills and stood out in various categories.
Ayesha competed at the Indonesia International Taekwondo Championship held in Jakarta from October 2–5, 2025, with approximately 5,000 athletes from 21 countries.
She won a gold medal in one category, defeating opponents from Japan and Indonesia. She secured a silver medal in another category, after beating athletes from Thailand and Indonesia in earlier rounds but losing to an Indonesian finalist in the final match.
Speaking to the media, Ayesha expressed her joy, saying, “I am extremely happy. All this is the result of Allah’s blessings, my hard work, and the prayers of all those who have always encouraged me. I am grateful to all Pakistanis who prayed for me and supported me.”
Ayesha further added that she wishes to return home soon and celebrate her victory with the nation.
