Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsood has broken yet another Guinness World Record, this time in fingertip push-ups, surpassing Norway’s Svere Dysen.
Svere Dysen had performed 38 fingertip push-ups in one minute while carrying an 80-pound weight, but Irfan Mehsood managed to complete 42 push-ups in one minute, setting a new world record.
Irfan Mehsood now holds the most world records in push-up categories globally — a total of 70 records. He has achieved world records with weights of 100, 80, 60, and 40 pounds, making him a leading name in strength-based martial arts achievements.
He has also set records in various other disciplines including martial push-ups, squats, step-ups, knee strikes, elbow strikes, high jumps, and star jumps.
Irfan Mehsood said that he was awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance Award in 2023, and he takes pride in being the first Pakistani to achieve 150 Guinness World Records over the past nine years.
Moreover, 20 of his students have also earned Guinness World Records, bringing pride to the nation.
