Shahram Changezi, a leading snooker player from Pakistan, has made history by becoming the first player to achieve a maximum 147 break in American snooker.
He accomplished this extraordinary feat during a practice match for the Embassy Open, where he outperformed former Pakistani player Farhan Idrees with an impeccable performance.
This 147 break is the first-ever recorded in the US at any level. Changezi completed the break in just 10 minutes.
Changezi is recognized as one of Pakistan’s top snooker talents. He was a crucial member of the team that won bronze at the 2010 Asian Games and has earned multiple medals in both Asian and World Championships. His notable achievements also include winning the Texas Open Snooker Championship last year.
In snooker, a 147 break is the highest score possible in a single frame. To achieve it, a player must pot all 15 red balls, each followed by a black ball, and then clear all six colored balls in one visit.
