PNEC students develop Pakistan’s first 4-wheel urban electric car

Students of Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC) have unveiled Pakistan’s first four-wheel Urban Electric Vehicle.

The skilled group, under the direction of Arham Khalil, created the electric vehicle from the ground up utilizing a variety of materials, including iron, plastic, glass, fiber, and tires specifically made for smooth riding. The car is an effective and environmentally beneficial form of transportation because it can go up to 200 km on a single charge and charges in a very short amount of time.

This achievement marks the 17th car developed by PNEC students, showcasing their exceptional skills and creativity. At an unveiling event held at a local hotel, Commodore Tauqeer Ahmed, Commandant of PNEC NUST, highlighted that Team Envision has participated in 17 events, raising Pakistan’s flag in 14 countries. He also announced that Team Envision will represent Pakistan with this four-wheel Urban Electric Vehicle in an upcoming event in Turkey.

Congratulating Team Envision on this milestone, the chief guest, Rear Admiral Mazhar Mehmood Malik, said, “The 15 years you spent on this project is your investment, which will pay off in your practical life.” He also encouraged them to carry the country’s flag high as ambassadors of Pakistan.
