Mehwish Ali successfully defended her Girls U-17 title with a commanding 11-5, 11-5, 11-7 victory over Eden-Alma Poulava in the final. The top-seeded player remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, not dropping a single set.
In the Boys U-17 category, Azan Ali Khan matched her feat with a straight-sets win over Australia’s Henry Kross, finishing 11-6, 11-4, 11-9. Khan, currently ranked second in Pakistan, showcased remarkable control and composure in the final.
Twelve-year-old Mahnoor Ali claimed gold in the Girls U-13 division with an emphatic 11-2, 11-5, 11-6 triumph against Riyo Kawabata. The top-ranked Pakistani in her age group mirrored her older sister Mehwish’s unbeaten run, winning all her matches in straight sets.
Ahmad Ali Naz added to Pakistan’s gold tally in the Boys U-11 final. After taking the first set 11-5 and conceding the second 11-2, Naz, ranked number one in Pakistan, rallied to defeat local competitor Freddie Goldsmith 3-1 by winning the next two sets 11-6, 11-6.
