Three Pakistani siblings have created history by winning four medals at the MBW International Taekwondo Championship 2025, held in Nilai, Malaysia.

According to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the championship took place from August 15–17 at the N9 Arena, featuring more than 4,200 athletes from 32 countries. Representing Pakistan, Ayesha Ayaz, her brother Mohammad Zaryab Khan, and their younger sister Gulalai Ayaz delivered remarkable performances that drew praise at home and abroad.

Ayesha, already recognized as Pakistan’s youngest taekwondo champion, secured a gold and a bronze medal. Zaryab claimed gold after a dominant series of contests, while Gulalai earned a bronze and was honored with the title of Best Fighter of the Tournament.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first time in Pakistan’s sporting history that three siblings have collectively won four medals in a single international taekwondo event. Their success has sparked celebrations in their hometown of Swat and across the country, where many view the achievement as a symbol of national pride and inspiration for young athletes.

Expressing gratitude, Ayesha credited her father for unwavering support, saying his belief in her abilities made the victory possible.
