In the Javelin Throw event of the Asian Throwing Championship 2025, Yasir Sultan won a medal for Pakistan. The national champion secured the bronze medal in the event.
According to details, at the Asian Throwing Championship 2025 in Korea, Pakistan’s Yasir Sultan won the bronze medal. He delivered an outstanding performance, throwing 77.43 meters. His first and fifth throws were fouls, while his second throw reached 75.79m, third 72.57m, and fourth 72.88m.
Pakistan’s javelin throw champion Yasir Sultan clinched the bronze medal with his sixth attempt of 77.43m. Yasir Sultan was the only representative of Pakistan in this event.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, Arshad Nadeem once again faced fitness issues. Due to a minor strain in his calf, doctors advised him against intensive training, which forced him to withdraw from the scheduled event in Switzerland.
Arshad Nadeem said, “I have missed the Switzerland event. Now I am leaving for England on July 15. My entire focus is on the World Championship scheduled in Tokyo this September.”
