OTTAWA: Canada-based Pakistani endurance athlete Fawzia Himani has once again made the country proud by completing the full Ironman Triathlon for the fourth time.
Himani successfully completed the challenging course at the Ironman Ottawa, demonstrating exceptional stamina and fitness.
The Ironman is regarded as one of the most grueling tests in endurance sports, comprising a 3.8-kilometer swim, 180-kilometer cycle ride, and a full 42.2-kilometer marathon run, all to be completed consecutively.
According to details, Fawzia Himani completed the full distance in 15 hours, 22 minutes and 35 seconds. She finished the swimming leg in 1 hour 45 minutes, the cycling segment in 7 hours 07 minutes, and the marathon in 6 hours 11 minutes.
With her latest feat, Himani has now completed the full Ironman four times, having previously achieved the milestone in 2021, 2024 and 2025. In addition to her full Ironman record, she has also completed the Half Ironman challenge five times.
Her consistent performance continues to inspire aspiring athletes, particularly women in endurance sports, both in Pakistan and across the Pakistani diaspora.
